About Company 7 BBQ
Company 7 BBQ was founded by a family of firefighters after considerable research and investigation. We are convinced that customers will prefer excellent, slow cooked barbecue in a friendly, upscale atmosphere. DΓ©cor evokes the feel of a 1920's fire house - warm woods and a lot of brass. The facility is decorated with fire awards and memorabilia that the owners have collected over the past 25 years. We have a Full Dining Area, a Free Banquet Room, a Drive Through, an Order OnLine Platform, a Patio, and a Fire Engine Bar.
Company 7 BBQ is a chinese bbq in Englewood, Ohio. It is listed at 1001 S Main St, Englewood, OH 45322, which places it among the local businesses of Englewood that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Englewood; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in Ohio are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 amβ10 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Company 7 BBQ at (937) 836-2777; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. My husband, myself and 2 children decided to give company 7 bbq a try since we have lived in the area for many years but never got a chance to dine there; let me tell you we are kicking ourselves in the butt for not giving this place a chance sooner. From the outside it seems unassuming, nothing special but once you enter it's a spectacular display of everything firefighter, our two boys loved it, especially the huge fire truck behind the bar. The hostess was kind and seated is promptly, within a minute the sweetest little blonde bounced up to our table with a smile. Her name was Leah and she made our dinner unforgettable. She explained all the sauces and gave us her recommendations before turning her attention toward our boys (ages 2 and 5). She spoiled them with coloring pages, and tons of stickers from her personal collection, even adding stickers to their cups, it was very sweet of her and we appreciate her attention to little details like giving them suckers after dinner. Needless to say our service was outstanding. Onto the food, ohh my goodness, talk about soul food goodness, my hotshot was incredible, the mashed potatoes were homemade and delicious the meat was tende

I am a BBQ junkie and take every opportunity to try a new place when I can. This was good but not great. I thought it was bland. I got the brisket, slaw, and green beans. Brisket was a bit dry, the sauces were good. Service was on the slower side and it was not crowded. The menu is extensive so a lot of things to choose from. BBQ is subjective and there are so many places out there. Try this one. It may be right up your alley. I like my BBQ to smack me in the face - full and flavorful, smoky. I didn't get that here.

I had the brisket burnt ends and this, meat candy, was tender with good flavor and a nice smokey bark. The sauce was a little to tangy/sweet for me as I prefer more of a Texas style with some good heat. But overall they are definitely worth the try. The sides were just as good, if not better, then the main. Mac and cheese and corn bread both very tasty and delicious, but what stole the show for me was the sweet potato casserole! This was like a dessert! Sweet brown sugar and chopped pecans finished with a buttery flavor that tied it all together, yum yum get you some! Our server was great, she was super attentive on a busy Saturday dinner and my beer glass was never empty long. Company 7 has a list of 25 draft options that change and rotate throughout the year. It is a little loud in the room, but never enough to where I couldn't hear or have a conversation at the table. If you are local then you know this place I'm sure! If you are passing through( or in a hotel and don't know where to go) stop in here for a bite, and you won't be disappointed ππ€

There are two things I did on 1/19/26 I have never done in this lifetime- I visited Englewood, Ohio I ate at Company 7. Englewood itself didnβt inspire me to stake a claim to a homestead within its geographical boundaries, but Company 7 was a proverbial diamond in the rough so it was worth the trek to the area. The So So: Came in at lunch with a party of two. The 6 minute wait at the door didnβt foreshadow a βMichelin Five Star Serviceβ experience, but considering there was one player in the game serving tables at the time it was understandable. The Pepsi Zero tasted like the chemistry class at the local high school was experimenting with random chemicals and came up with that particular beverage as their end product. I survived the next 8 hours so whatever it was it was aok for human consumption. The Service over all was lacking. There was no pre bus of our dishes. We had to wait a while to get our check - but there was ONE person waiting on 6 or 7 tables so only the most cold heartedly objective client would muse for a long time over the shortcomings in this area. I am sure when theyβre staffed properly they are putting fires out a lot faster (pun fully intended). The What the

It was my first time to visit Company 7 BBQ. When we arrived we were greeted with a smile- that's always a great way to start a visit to any restaurant IMO.π Our server was wonderful! Very happy, helpful and joked around with us. (I wish I would've gotten her name because I would ask for her the next time I go.) There were 6 of us and we got a variety of food. It arrived hot and all of it was delicious! While waiting for our food, I enjoyed that the atmosphere was fun and everyone there seemed to be having a great time. A note... I am gluten intolerant so I didn't eat the cornbread. I ate the super loaded baked potato and 2 veg sides with no issues. The shredded brisket on the potato was SO good. π
